Our Sales Policy

Special Notice:

Our goats are our friends... an extension of our family. We know their individual voices from the kitchen window, without even seeing them. We know who likes to eat out of which food dish. We know one of them won't drink out of a green bucket, but will drain the blue bucket. We know where each of them like to get scratched best. We know favorite treats and they are first on our grocery list, ahead of our human food. They make sure we know when dinner time is late, even by just a few moments. They get tucked in every night, with an animal cracker, a carrot stick or strawberry, and a kiss on the nose.

They are LOVED. We endeavor to improve their quality of life on a daily basis, always seeking enrichment, nutritional, or comfort changes to give them our best. Finding the right homes for them is our ultimate mission.

Sales Policy

  • The health and well being of our goats is always our greatest priority. If at any time we feel that a sale is not a good fit, we reserve the right to cancel it at any time prior to pick up.
  • An established relationship with a vet who can provide the basics to small ruminants will be required prior to pick up. We understand the difficulty in obtaining a livestock vet, but access to care will need to be confirmed.
  • We will hold a "first right of refusal" for any of our sales that re-homing is sought after the sale. This includes ESA sales.
  • We reserve the right to retain a kid from any breeding, even if a reservation has been placed.
  • A deposit will be required if you are interested in purchasing an adult animal or are requesting that we hold a kid for you until they are weaned. Deposit will be non-refundable if the buyer decides not to go through with the sale.
  • If pricing is listed on the kidding schedule, note that it is subject to change with the results of the breeding. Prices are based on whether the doe is a first freshener, the proven quality of the breeding pair, and of course, the quality of the kid once it is born.
  • Non-ESA Wethers available for $100 each, or $150 for a pair.
  • Payment is due in full before a goat leaves the farm, we will accept cash or PayPal. No personal checks will be accepted.
  • All goats are healthy and up to date with all maintenance and age appropriate vaccines when they leave our farm. You will receive a record with any purchase detailing any treatments the goat has received. If you need health certification from our vet for traveling over state lines, or for further verification of a goat's health, there is an additional charge of $180.
  • Buyers are to understand that a move to a new environment is incredibly stressful on a goat, and they should be prepared to manage that so that it does not result in illness. We will provide a dose of pro-biotics and coccidia prevention at time of pick up, if desired. Though, we will not be held responsible for what a goat may be exposed to once they leave our hands. However, if there is found to be some pre-existing condition that we were not aware of, we will work to rectify the situation to the best of our abilities.
